Legacy in Motion.

I'm Tyler Polk — a father of three from New Iberia, Louisiana. A realtor, a founder, and a builder at heart who believes legacy isn't something you leave behind. It's something you create every single day.

Chapter 01 — Where it starts

A mind that looks
beyond what exists.

I'm from New Iberia, Louisiana — a place that shaped my values, my perspective, and the way I connect with people.

So much of the man, builder, and visionary I am today traces back to my grandfather. He showed me what it looks like to work with your hands and your heart, to take pride in what you create, and to lead by example rather than words. The lessons he passed down — about character, craftsmanship, and building things that last — still guide everything I do.

From him I inherited a mind that looks beyond what already exists. I naturally see possibilities: imagining what a property could become, finding a better solution to a problem, or turning an idea into something real.

And my imagination has always been connected to action. I don't just enjoy dreaming things up — I want to understand how they work and learn to build them. Even when I don't have all the answers, I'll teach myself, experiment, and keep going until the vision becomes tangible.

Chapter 02 — The spark

From real estate
into technology.

As a Realtor, I saw firsthand how confusing and impersonal the home-selling process can feel. But I also saw an opportunity — to communicate more clearly, create a better experience, and build something that genuinely serves people.

That became the spark behind teaching myself to build with technology. I never saw tech as separate from my real estate work — I saw it as a tool for solving real problems.

Evangeline Home Buyers brings every part of me together: real estate, creativity, technology, and a desire to give homeowners a simpler, more human way forward.

Visionary

I see the finished thing before it exists, then reverse-engineer the path to get there.

Self-taught

I learn by doing. I never let not knowing something become an excuse.

Executor

Ideas are cheap. I care about the version that actually exists in the world.

Chapter 03 — Things I've built

Where imagination
becomes execution.

I'm energized by that exact moment — when something that began as an idea starts working in the real world. Over time I've built website after website, brand after brand, and system after system — teaching myself whatever each project demanded. Here are a few that tell the story best.

Real estate · Web · AI

Evangeline Home Buyers

A complete 55-page website for my Acadiana home-buying company — full brand system, lead-capture funnels, privacy policies and disclosures, and 49 self-generating local SEO landing pages. Designed and built end to end, teaching myself the tools as I went.

…and plenty more along the way. These are just the highlights — every project taught me something new and pushed the next one further.

Chapter 04 — What lights me up

The things that
shape me.

My three girls

Above everything, I love being a father to my three beautiful daughters. They're a constant source of love, motivation, and perspective — and they've given the word "legacy" a much deeper meaning in my life.

The competitor in me

Baseball, football, and basketball taught me discipline, teamwork, preparation, and how to compete with purpose — plus how to respond when things don't go according to plan.

Golf & headspace

Golf gives me space to think, reset, and compete with myself. Patience, focus, honesty, recovering from a bad shot — a lot like business and life. You can't change the last shot, but you can be fully present for the next one.

Learning & building

I lose track of time studying a new tool, sharpening an idea, or figuring out how pieces fit together. The moment imagination becomes something real — that's the feeling I chase.

Chapter 05 — What matters most

Opening doors — so they can
open even more.

Everything I build, I build with my girls in mind. Not just to provide for them — but to show them what's possible. I want them to watch their father dream boldly, work relentlessly, and turn ideas into something real, so they grow up believing they can do the same.

That's what "Legacy in Motion" means to me. Legacy isn't a finish line or something you hand over at the end. It's momentum — built every single day through the choices I make, the work I put in, and the example I set right in front of them.

My job is to open doors. To create opportunities, break new ground, and lead the way — so that one day my daughters can walk through those doors, then turn around and open even more doors for others. That's what I believe we're here to do: lift as we climb, and leave the path wider than we found it.

Leading the way, lifting as I climb.
Chapter 06 — What I stand for

The principles I
build and live by.

Treat people like people, not transactions.

Put family at the center of what I build.

Be honest, especially when the truth isn't the easiest answer.

Keep learning — never let not knowing become an excuse.

Do what you say you're going to do.

Build with purpose, not simply for attention.

Stay disciplined when the initial excitement wears off.

Leave people better than you found them.

Chapter 07 — Where the ideas happen
